MISSION

The Norwalk Land Trust seeks to balance nature and development by acquiring land and preserving it in its natural state for the benefit of Norwalk residents and future generations.

We currently steward 33 parcels of open space, owning 84 acres and holding 25 acres via conservation easement.

GOVERNANCE

Since 1973 the Norwalk Land Trust has been governed by an all volunteer Board of Directors, who meet monthly. An Advisory Board made up of former board members and some elected officials at the state and local level assists the Board where appropriate.

Audited financial reports are available upon request; and the organization is a federally recognized 501 © (3) public charity. (FIN: 23-7309817)

We rely on membership donations and grants and currently have more than 300 members. Please join us.
